Draught-free air distribution can only be guaranteed when, having regard to the required air permeability, the special fabric is designed exactly and, consequently, matched as closely as possible to the capacity range of the equipment.

A too high air permeability allows the tubing to become unstable, causes fluttering and, at worst, results in breaking up; too low permeability reduces the efficiency of the system and leads to early deterioration.

IBENA specializes in just such precision manufacture necessary for the production of fabrics for air distribution systems and filter fabrics which have received certification in conformity with DIN ISO 9001.

Depending on the specific requirements of each case, different materials like polyester, polypropylene, Trevira CS or Nomex are used.

In addition to the standard widths between 150 cms and 200 cms the production programme also comprises finished widths up to 520 cms, together with a broad range of colours.

The fabrics can also be dyed in accordance with the individual requirements of customers.

Furthermore, in response to customers‘ requests IBENA can develop fabric compositions designed specially for individual requirements.
